2017 Rickenbacker 4003S

To preface: This era of 4003S was a time period before the V2 bridge, before the V2 bridge pickup assembly, before the single dual-action truss rod, before the neck profile change, before the change of knobs, and most significantly before the addition of the skunk stripe. What does that all mean? It's your prime candidate for a 60's tribute if you care to make a few modifications. The newer 4003S basses have several changes (many of which are good, mind you) that make it difficult to get a 60's look, such as the skunk stripe or the V2 bridge. Should you want to make modifications to get the 60's look, let me know and I can help point you in the right direction.

On to condition. This 4003S is essentially new. It has lived it's life in a case, neglected, and desperately wants a loving home. It even sports both stickers on the pickguard and the original RIC strings. It plays incredibly well, action is comfortable, tone excellent (as always), paint has no wear or dings--it is just as it was when it left the factory.

Comes with original RIC hardshell case and case candy. It will be packed carefully and shipped via UPS Ground.
